The WWII Art Seriesis comprised of twenty nine historic lithographs
produced by the American Fighter Aces Association. Produced from
original oil paintings by nationally known "artist of the Aces", aviation
artist Roy Grinnell. All Lithographs are signed by various Aces that
flew the aircraft depicted in each Lithograph. Each print measures
24" x 30" and are reproduced on 80 lb, acid free stock.
The Gold Star Seriescurrently consists of sixteen historic prints. Produced from original oil paintings by Roy Grinnell these fine art prints are printed by the Giclee (Gee-cly) process on 17" x 22" Somerset Velvet 100% cotton rag, acid free paper. This multicolor ink jet printing process provides a truer color and more accurate representation of the original. The Somerset Velvet paper has a radiant white surface and a special ink jet coating that helps bring out the rich detail and vivid color of the original oil painting by the artist. All prints are hand signed by the Aces that flew the aircraft depicted in each lithographic print.
